Description
Assisting the gardens team to look after approx. 17 acres of formal and informal grounds and gardens at Wiston house under the direction of the head gardener.
The gardens include- formal borders, water features, woodlands, trees, extensive formal yew and box hedging and large areas of formal and informal lawns.
Knowledge and experience of both hand held and ride on machinery necessary as this is a key part of the role.
Shrub, tree and hedge maintenance knowledge would be an advantage.
Comfortable working alone or with one or two others.
Happy working outside in all seasons, with a good level of physical fitness.
Full driving license needed due to rural location.
