Fika Bakery is an artisan Swedish bakery based in Brighton, going through a period of rapid growth.


We are looking for an evening or night baker to be part of a small team. We are flexible and are looking for someone who can work 4 or 5 shifts a week.

Ability to input into our range and product development

You would create Swedish cinnamon and cardamom buns, croissants and other artisan premium products for wholesale and retail in Sussex. We are currently building a range of breads and lunch items too.


About you:

2+ years' experience as a baker (5+ would be preferable)

You bring some great experience working with viennoiserie, enriched doughs or bread

A positive approach, willingness to learn and to share your knowledge with less experienced bakers

An excellent awareness of Health & Safety procedures, allergens and hygiene

Attention to detail and pride in production

A good level of spoken English



The role:

40 hours per week, working 4-5 days per week

Bake and finish bakery products to a high-quality

Help develop our product range to meet our wholesale and retail needs

Support the bakery team

Help monitor quality assurance

Contribute to maintaining a clean and effective bakery production environment

Contribute to resolving issues with and making improvements to bakery products/production.
