This is a creative and fun course is designed for those who are interested  exploring traditional and creative woodland crafts in the stunning ancient woodland setting at Plumpton College.  During the day you will be introduced to the methods of creating a temporary clay or cob oven that you can used to create you own oven in your own setting.

The day will focus on the skills, materials and stages of creating a working clay or cob oven. Everyone will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience as we will create a oven together before firing up a completed oven and having a go at cooking with it. Be prepared to get messy and have fun as we spend a lot of time with MUD! creating items using three metal work techniques based on traditional methods. 
Designed to be suitable for the complete novice or those in the Forest School sector that would like to learn a new and exciting skill to share with their students, a great CPD opportunity. 
Throughout the journey of the day we will include a few simple mindfulness activities you can join in with or just enjoy the work, scenery and company.  The aim of the day is to remove stress and experience a simpler way of life.

Entry Requirements:

Learners must be 16+

Students must bring appropriate outdoor all weather clothing and footwear to the session.
