Skills Day, Plumpton Certificate
A creative and fun course designed for those who are interested in exploring traditional and creative metal craft in a stunning woodland setting.
The course is a basic introduction for those new to the skill, or those in the Forest School sector that would like to learn a new and exciting skill to share with students. The focus is to support reconnection with nature using natural materials, creativity and traditional skills to produce individual and unique items.
The day will focus on creating items using three metal work techniques based on traditional methods. You will develop your skills and be able to produce small items to showcase your efforts.
The three methods that will be covered are:
- Branding Wooden Items
- Copper Embossing
- Pewter Casting
