Staying safe in the Grooming Parlour
An educational opportunity for dog groomers of all levels to learn canine behaviour and staying safe in the grooming parlour.
We are very fortunate to have Mark Bridger Canine Behaviourist from Bone Canis join us at Plumpton Dog Grooming for a day focusing on canine behavior and reading danger signs, helping reactive dogs and keeping groomers safe.
The morning will be a presentation, theory based with the opportunity to apply this theory later in the day on practical learning afternoon.
Do you know a dog that can help us learn?
It may be your own dog or alternatively you may have a client’s dog in mind. We are looking for 4-5 candidate dogs of any breed with behavioral issues in the grooming parlour to take part.
Their behaviour maybe reactionary in the following way:
- Over excitable
Please contact the Programme Manager on firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss possible candidates.
Cost £80 per person including lunch
