This is a creative and fun course is designed for those who are interested exploring traditional and creative metal craft in a stunning woodland setting.
Its designed as a basic introduction course suitable for the complete novice or those in the Forest School sector that would like to learn a new and exciting skill to share with their students, a great CPD opportunity. The focus is to support reconnection with nature and the outdoors through using natural materials, creativity and traditional skills to produce individual and unique items from a range of metals.
The day will focus creating items using metal work techniques based on traditional methods. There is plenty of opportunity to get creative or keep it simple, its up to you on the day. You will develop your skills and be able to produce small items to showcase your efforts.
A range of Woodland Workshops days are planned throughout the year or possibly consider enrolling on one of the Forest School training course.
