School Programmes & Visits

There have been some changes made to school visit opportunities, applicable since September 2019. Rather than offering ad-hoc visits, a calendar of events and visit dates are available where both primary and secondary schools can book to visit, linked to the curriculum. Equally, the Schools Liaison team would be happy to come and visit secondary schools, whether it be leading assembly sessions, organising bespoke workshops or attending careers events.

The purpose of this change is to ensure that when your students visit, that we can offer the very best experience, with an opportunity to visit a wide breadth of our curriculum, giving your students the knowledge they need to make an informed decision about their future career path.

Currently, due to the COVID-19 situation we have not yet released dates for this academic year but please do get in touch if you would like to enquire about visiting or if you would like to organise a virtual secondary school session. We have also launched our brand new Schools Portal which features a host of valuable resources, including a recorded version of our assembly presentation, a list of FAQ's as well as key diary dates. To get in touch with the Schools Liaison team please email

There are some exciting developments at Plumpton College this year, including the redevelopment of the horticultural campus at Stanmer Park, and the opening of the Victorian Walled Garden, as a free public garden, café, retail and events space, opening in spring 2021 as One Garden Brighton. This will include the opportunity for school visits, with further information on this coming soon. If you would like to find out more please email Lydia Samuel, Learning & Outreach Officer at
