ILM Level 3

Our Level 3 Award in Coaching is designed for those in their first management roles, including team leaders and first-line managers.

The Award is ideal for individuals seeking to develop the tools, knowledge and confidence to coach people as part of their normal working role.

The course combines distance and class room based learning. You will attend 4 one day sessions over 4 weeks at Plumpton College, followed by 3 remote 1-2-1 support sessions. You will also be required to complete 6 hours of work based coaching.

The Award explores core competencies of a workplace coach and you will complete the units listed below in the Modules section.

You will study what it takes to be an effective coach in your workplace, learn coaching models and the tools to support it. You will also analyse, assess and plan to improve your own coaching ability. As part of your Award you will put your new skills into practice and carry out workplace sessions.

You will complete 6 one-hour workplace coaching sessions and 3 assignments. 

Entry Requirements:

- You are required to be in a first line management or team leader position with a good level of spoken and written English.

- You will need to be able to carry out 6 hours of workplace coaching
