City & Guilds Level 1 Award
Whilst attending this course you will be either outside in nature, or inside in our potting areas. The course will have us out and about in nature, looking at the signs of the seasons and seeing how the plants are responding.
As a group, we will be investigating plants, looking at the seeds they produce and sowing them to propagate more plants. You will also be taking cuttings, potting up plants and sometimes attending beds, borders and planters.
Our students have found great benefit in these courses, be that as a way to relax and join in with a group of like minded people, or to learn skills that will provide a stepping stone into a rewarding career that has so many benefits.
