For the complete novice or if you just like to pick up some new ideas and improve your skills and knowledge. Great for enhancing your teaching skills in a forest school environment or enjoy creating natural wonders with friends or family. Learn and develop your knowledge of this age old process of adding colour to material, using natural materials to create dyes.

The day will allow you to make dyes from natural materials such as clay, onion skins, berries, bark and leaves, over a camp fire in the beautiful woodland.

  • Select and prepare suitable materials for dyeing,
  • Harvesting resources sustainably and responsibly
  • Make a selection of colors using natural dyes
  • Hand-on practice getting creative and produce your patterns from nature
Entry Requirements:

There are no specific entry requirements but all those taking part must wear appropriate weather clothing and footwear.
