Animal & Equine Care Assistant
City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate
This Level 2 course is for those who love animals, including horses, and want to learn more about the nursing or veterinary sector with progression to train as an animal care assistant or veterinary nurse.
You will cover topics such as:
- Animal first aid and treatment
- Medicines
- Planning and delivery of animal training programmes
- Animal handling
- Communication skills in the workplace
- Professional standards in the workplace
- Client liaison

Entry Requirements
No substantial experience required
