Note: Bookings of less than 10 individual sessions (of the same consecutive slot) will incur a VAT charge.

Bookings are provisional until a completed booking form has been returned and the request has been confirmed. Booking forms will be sent out (on request) when the booking has been provisionally agreed.

Conditions of Hire:

• Plumpton College reserves the right to terminate any hire agreement at any stage.
• Any property and/or vehicles left on the college premises are done so at the owner’s risk.
• Plumpton College accepts no responsibility for injuries or accidents to participants during their hire sessions.
• Users are responsible for leaving the sports hall, changing areas and toilets in a clean and tidy condition.
• No food or drink is to be consumed in the sports hall. Any cleaning costs incurred will be charged to the user(s).
• Un-necessary damage caused to the lights, fire alarms, smoke fittings, window protectors etc. in the sports hall and any other equipment during any session will be charged to the person/group named on the booking form.
• Please report damage caused to any of the facilities as soon as possible, either to the duty warden or to the hirer as soon as possible.
• Users are only authorised to use the equipment/facilities they have booked.
• Hire slots must not over-run due to late starts.
• * No rugby / football boots to be worn in the sports hall building. Only appropriate and non marking soled footwear can be worn in the sports hall.
• Instruction on the use of specific equipment / facilities can be given prior to or during the initial hire (on request). Directions for use are visible on the store cupboard door and are for reference purposes only.
• * Plumpton College will notify the user(s) of unfit playing conditions, giving at least 24 hours notice (where possible) of cancellation. No fee will be owed if cancellations are as a result of bad weather or necessity by the college.
• Cancellations incurred less than 48 hours before the proposed date of hire will result in a charge being levied for the full hire cost of the facilities.
• * Times of hire for football, rugby and cricket pitches are for one hour before to one hour after completion of a normal time match (unless prior arrangements are agreed).
• Under no circumstances are vehicles to be driven onto the sports field. Please park in the designated spaces only.
• Keys to the sports hall (if required), tennis courts and cricket pavilion are available from the duty warden, in the Student Services office (in the main building, next to the common room).
• Invoices will be sent to the contact on the booking form unless other payee details are given or other payment instructions are agreed.

Please make all of your club members / participants aware that Plumpton College is a residential site where speed limits apply. Please drive sensibly and cautiously at all time.
