O) WSET Advanced Certificate in Wines

This is the next level up from the Intermediate Certificate and caters for very keen wine drinkers and those who wish to be employed in positions of responsibility in the wine trade.
Topics covered include: labelling regulations, tasting technique, wine & food matching, viticulture & vinification, wine storage and the social, health & legal issues relating to wines. Alcoholic beverages examined will include: light wines, sparkling wines and fortified wines.

 
Assessment will include a written examination and a blind tasting. Successful students may progress onto the WSET Diploma in wines and spirits or the Foundation Degree in Wine Business.
