This exciting new course gathers together some of the key modules
from the Foundation Degree in Wine Business and offers them in an
intensive package delivered from mid-September through to
February, providing an in-depth overview of the wine trade in Britain.
It would be particularly suitable for those who have already gained a
business qualification or who have gained a good background in
wine business by studying this topic in another country.
Subjects covered include: Wines and Spirits of the world, the Wine
Trade and Marketing. Students are also required to complete an
investigative project.
Students may progress from this course to complete the full
Foundation Degree in Wine Business.
Students must have successfully completed the WSET (Wine and
Spirit Education Trust) Intermediate Certificate (or equivalent) prior to
starting the course and will have the opportunity to take the WSET
Advanced Certificates as an additional qualification at the end of the
programme.
Duration: Classes at Plumpton 10 - 12 hours a week
