B) Level 3 Diploma in Floristry (City & Guilds 0351-03)

A one year, 2 day a week course leading to the Advanced National Certificate in Floristry, this award is suitable for candidates who wish to progress from Level 2 Diploma or work based Diploma Level 2. This Level 3 course provides advanced training and skills ideal for those with suitable experience, motivation and commitment. The entry requirements for this course are: Level 2 Diploma at Credit Level. This is a fast-track programme assessed by written assignments, practical assessment and final short answer written test.

  • Diverse Floral Designs for Weddings
  • Assembled Diverse Floral Arrangements
  • Assemble Diverse Sympathy Tributes
  • Working in the Floristry Industry (10 days)
  • Function and Events Decoration Using Floral Displays

 
This is a programme suitable for those in a supervisory position or having responsibilities in the workplace of a supervisory nature. You will need to demonstrate enthusiasm and genuine commitment to the intensive programme  at your interview, plus the required level of learning skills for the course. Progression to Levels 4 and 5 can be achieved for successful candidates with a strong commercialb ackground. NVQ Floristry or National Certificate in Floristry at Credit Level is required, but relevant experience will also be considered. Flowers and sundries are not included in course
fee; some materials are available from the College. Up to two days a week needed for self-study/ assignment work. An interview is required for this programme.
